Siddal Confirm League Title

As predicted last week, Siddal beat Wigan St.Patricks last Tuesday to claim the 2011 National Conference Premier League Leaders trophy
Siddal only needed to beat Pats by 3 points or more to claim the title ahead of Thatto Heath Crusaders, but won 22-11 in the end. However, they didn't have it all their own way, they were behind 0-9 at half-time, and 0-11 into the second half. But just as they have done many times in the past they came from behind to win comfortably in the end, and are now one step away from another Grand Final.
Hull Dockers then won their last two games to finish in the fifth position, pushing West Hull down to sixth, and making sure that Leigh Miners Rangers missed out on a play-off spot this season. Leigh East and Wath Brow Hornets finished third and fourth respectively and there will be 2 interesting knockout ties this coming weekend.
